The pious occasion of Guru Purnima was celebrated with prodigious devotion and reverence at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Udham Singh Nagar today. A day dedicated to the memory of the great sage Mahrishi Vyasa .The day commenced with the special assembly in which the mellifluous rendition of bhajan- "Gurudev daya karke mujhko apna lena" by the Bhartiyans of class VI to IX evoked the feeling of gratefulness for gurus who foster excellence and perfection in shaping the young minds with selfless devotion. Emphasizing the importance of the day Mr. Rajkumar (TGT Sanskrit) in his speech, exhorted the students to be altruistic & compassionate towards our gurus. He inspired the students to felicitate them as they are the one who prepare them to achieve the goal and reach the zenith in their lives.
Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi motivated the students to be highly obliged to their Gurus who shoulder the tremendous responsibility of enlightening the generations by keeping alive the ‘Guru Shishya Parampra’.
